What I do and where it comes from.
I am a musician, producer, arranger and singing teacher. For more than twelve years I have also run The Beatles Vocal Harmony, analysing Beatles recordings to work out who sings what, how the harmony is built and how the parts fit together.

I listen first, then decide what the song needs.
Some songs need one simple line. Others need several parts. I do not apply a preset arrangement: I write around the melody, chords and style of the track.
